I’m becoming more and more amazed by what exactly I can fit on a twin bed. And still sleep in it.
This is probably because I grew up with a full-size bed all to myself, but I never thought I’d even be able to get myself on my dorm bed comfortably when I first got to college.
Well, my current inventory speaks otherwise. Currently on my bed:
- Myself
- My dvd case
- Teddy Squid(TS) Eliot, my anatomically correct squid plush
- Hippo the hippopotamus plush I got as a baby
- A gallon of water
- A bag of colored pencils
- A clipboard full of white drawing paper
- Six sharpies
- My cell phone
- Three rolls of duct tape
- A can of parmesan cheese (what’s THAT doing here?)
- FMA Manga 19 in French
- A Roy Mustang plushie
- An empty bowl that used to have rice in it
- Two pairs of earbuds (for post-quiet hours movie parties)
- An unpopped bag of popcorn (because the microwave is within arms-reach of my bed)
- Don Quixote
- My dorm key
Gosh, that’s a lot of stuff. Maybe I need to stop living out of my bed and actually use my. . . wait. There’s a desk under all that microwavable rice and duct tape? Wow! I forgot that was there!
