Reasons For Loving/Hating: Oh my dear and fluffy lord!! Best freaking zombie movie ever! Did I mention it was a comedy? Just what I needed tonight!

So I literally just came back from the theater on this one, which should show you how totally excited about this movie I am. Zombieland was like a festival of beautiful men on ice. With fire. And chocolate chip waffles dipped in bananas foster with fresh whipped cream and extra bacon. So basically the best thing ever.
Actually, it was none of those things. But it was equally awesome. My fangirl squees of joy have yet to calm. If I could marry a movie, this may have been the one.
The acting was brilliant, especially by the immortal Woody Harrelson, who played the weapon-happy cowboy type, Tallahassee. I never thought before that a man would go so far for a twinkie. Watch it and see what I mean.
An actor who suprised me was Jesse Eisenburg, who played the neurotic geek Columbus. Having not seen him in much before, I was thrilled by his ability to pull off stress comedy. He and Harrelson worked wonderfully together!

See what I mean?
Even better were the actresses. Normally, I’m all about the guys, but even a straight-laced Catholic girl like me has to admit that Emma Stone is hard core hot! Oh, and she can act, which makes me like her far more than most actesses her age.
Also, the darling Abigail Breslin just keeps getting more impressive as she grows older. I thought she was incredible in Signs, but she is still an astoundingly good child actress!

All Together Now
Now you may be wondering why this movie of all movies didn’t get a perfect ten in my book. Well, that’s because it’s not quite the perfect movie. Close, but not quite. There’s a bit too much gore, a bit too much swearing, anmd not quite enough philosophy. Still, with its awesome action scenes, brilliant acting, and fantastic plot, this movie is about as close as any has come yet to my ideal film.
But don’t just take my word on it. Go see it! Trust me, it’ll be worth the money.
